Its careers service is superb offering online materials to help students write their CV, it also maintains a vacancy and employer database. They offer summer workshops and law fairs where prospective employers make presentations.

College of Law Bloomsbury LPC Facilities
London Bloomsbury is the College of Law Bloomsbury’s largest centre and so must be one of the largest law schools in the country. It boasts being close to the hustle and bustle of London’s West End and the City. This may be an attraction for some but a distraction for others.
The facilities are as extensive as you’d expect and you’ll have many other students to share them with. London Bloomsbury is great if you’re attracted to a competitive big city legal career but could be overwhelming for some.
College of Law Elite – The College of Law Bloomsbury’s Online Learning
The College of Law Bloomsbury LPC has one of the best online learning resources known as the College of Law ELITE. ELITE stands for ‘Electronic Legal Interactive Training Environment’ and it is probably as good as it sounds. Some College of Law LPC students say they login to ELITE so much that it does not make much difference which location you choose to study at.
College of Law Bloomsbury LPC Electives
The College of Law Bloomsbury approaches LPC electives differently from other law schools. First you choose your career path and then select three appropriate vocational electives. The three career paths they offer are Corporate, Commercial and Private, and Legal Aid. The vocational electives on offer include:

- Commercial dispute resolution
- Commercial law
- Employment law and practice
- Family law
- Housing law and practice
- Immigration law and practice

NB: Not all electives are available at all centres and your firm may have some say in which you take.
College of Law Bloomsbury LPC Study Hours
The College of Law Bloomsbury offers what it calls ‘flexible study modes’ so you can choose whether to cram your LPC into 7 months, do the standard 1 year course or take a part time option ranging from 16 months to 2 years.
The College of Law Bloomsbury full time LPC has a 2 day timetabling option meaning that lectures and tutorials are scheduled on just 2 days a week which makes it a lot easier if you are commuting.
College of Law Bloomsbury LPC Admissions Requirements / Application
- Qualifying law degree (minimum lower second class honours), or qualifying non-law degree (minimum lower second class honours) and GDL or CPE, or similar qualification such as ILEX/FILEX
- All applicants must demonstrate a sufficient command of English to be able to complete the course
- Academic or other references may be required.
- As with all other LPC law schools, admission applications are handled via the Central Applications Board.
